Úc Châu Cung Nghinh Xá Lợi Đức Phật – Sự Kiện Lịch Sử Tại Sydney và Melbourne

Cộng đồng Phật giáo và đa văn hóa tại Úc trân trọng thông báo: Xá Lợi Đức Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni, do Liên Hiệp Phật Giáo Pháp Quốc (UBF) gìn giữ, sẽ được cung thỉnh đến Úc trong một chuyến triển lãm công cộng vô cùng hy hữu.

– 22/01/2026 – Chùa Phước Huệ, Sydney
– 29–30/01/2026 – Chùa Quang Minh, Braybrook (Melbourne)

Xá Lợi có nguồn gốc từ cuộc khai quật lịch sử tại Piprahwa năm 1898 và đã được Pháp quốc thỉnh về từ Thái Lan vào năm 2009. Đây là bảo vật thiêng liêng được tôn kính bởi tất cả truyền thống Phật giáo, biểu trưng cho trí tuệ, từ bi và giác ngộ của Đức Thế Tôn.
Thượng Tọa Thích Phước Tấn OAM, Trụ trì Chùa Quang Minh, bày tỏ lòng tri ân sâu sắc đến UBF: “Đây là cơ hội hiếm có để mọi người—không phân biệt tôn giáo hay văn hóa—được chiêm bái và cảm nhận năng lượng giác ngộ của Đức Phật. Xá Lợi nhắc nhở chúng ta về hòa bình, lòng từ bi và tình người.”

Chương trình được phối hợp tổ chức cùng Tòa Đại Sứ Bhutan, cộng đồng Bhutan và các hội đoàn Phật giáo trên toàn quốc, bao gồm:

• Lễ cung nghinh
• Nghi thức tụng niệm Việt – Bhutan – Anh – Pali
• Giờ chiêm bái công cộng
• Giao lưu liên tôn và đa văn hóa

Chiêm bái Xá Lợi Đức Phật là một thiện nghiệp lớn đối với người Phật tử, là cơ hội hy hữu để vun bồi và tích lũy công đức sâu dày.

Australia Welcomes the Sacred Relics of the Lord Buddha for Historic Public Exposition in Sydney and Melbourne

Australia will soon host one of the world’s most sacred Buddhist treasures—the Precious Relics of the Lord Buddha, entrusted to the Union Bouddhiste de France (UBF). This rare and historic spiritual event will take place on:

– 22 January 2026 – Phuoc Hue Buddhist Temple, Sydney
– 29–30 January 2026 – Quang Minh Temple, Braybrook (Melbourne)

The relics, originating from the Piprahwa discovery of 1898 and safeguarded in France since 2009, are revered across all Buddhist traditions as embodiments of the Buddha’s compassion, wisdom, and enlightenment. Their arrival in Australia marks a profound moment of spiritual unity, cultural diplomacy, and interfaith harmony.

Senior Venerable Thich Phuoc Tan OAM, Abbot of Quang Minh Temple and President of the United Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation in Victoria, expressed deep gratitude to the UBF for its trust and collaboration. “This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for people of all backgrounds to encounter the living presence of the Buddha’s teachings. The relics remind us of peace, compassion, and the shared humanity that binds us all.”

The event is organised in partnership with the Embassy of Bhutan, the Bhutanese community, and Buddhist organisations nationwide.

Each venue will host:

• Welcoming ceremonies
• Chanting in Vietnamese, Bhutanese, English, and Pali
• Public viewing sessions
• Interfaith and multicultural engagement

This sacred exposition invites all Australians—Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike—to participate in a moment of reflection, healing, and collective goodwill.
